The University of Maragheh is among the top universities from an international point of view

According to the world universities ranking of 2025 and from an international point of view, the University of Maragheh became one of the top universities in Iran.

According to the Public Relations Department, which is according to the Young Journalists Club, the top universities of Iran from an international point of view are:

Universities of Golestan province, Kermanshah University of Medical Sciences, Qom University of Medical Sciences, Amir Kabir University of Technology, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Hakim Sabzevari University, Persian Gulf University, the University of Kordistan, the University of Maragheh, Iran University of Medical Sciences, the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, Shahrood University of Technology, Gorgan University of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, Yazd University, Shiraz University of Technology, K.N. Toosi University of Technology, Isfahan University of Technology, and Tehran University of Technology.

In this ranking, all of the universities were examined, and the University of Oxford keeps its first position for the ninth consecutive year, which is influenced by its education and technology interaction developments.

In the new ranking, 3 new countries, which are Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, were added to the 200 top countries, and this issue shows the development of emerging markets in education.

The last methodology of this ranking is known as the most comprehensive examination of university function, which includes 18 precisely calibrated parameters that examine institutes in 5 important areas: education, research environment, research quality, technology interaction, and international point of view.
